Providing all day childcare for 0-5 year old’s and Holiday club for all Primary school aged Children in Royal Leamington Spa

Our vision

We provide a loving, safe and stimulating environment where every child is encouraged to develop a love of learning through our play-based curriculum. Each child’s individuality is valued and nurtured as we encourage confidence and independence. We build strong relationships with families to work together towards supporting each child to reach their full potential..

We have a fantastic team of Nursery Practitioners who are passionate, committed, and have a caring approach to childcare which is clear in the

relationship between the children and staff. We ensure all staff within the setting have an enhanced DBS check, have up to date safeguarding training and hold a paediatric first aid qualification. Alongside our nursery practitioners we have our management/office team, our cook and our SENCO who all work towards making our nursery the welcoming, nurturing and inclusive place it is.

  • To each and everyone of you, I can't say thank you enough for everyone's support for myself & C over the past year. You have all contributed to the way C has grown & developed into the happy, confident little person he has become. Your warm welcomes every morning and fond farewells at the end of each day will be something we shall miss dearly. You have all shown love, encouragement, compassion, tolerance, patience, excitement and kindness to name just a few! Myself & C can't say enough how grateful we are to have been part of the Puddleducks Family. We will miss you all & I personally will always think fondly of C's early education with the fantastic Puddleducks!

  • I’ll also take the opportunity to thank you all and just say how wonderful we have found this year with you. H has come on in leaps and bounds in all areas. It’s amazing to see what a difference a setting and its staff can make. H has felt safe and listened to and while we all know he is cheeky and loves to test and push boundaries, we are so pleased with how you have handled this and grateful that you do see and hopefully enjoy his sense of humour!

    C & I

  • Puddleducks has been a turning point in J's preschool days and your love & affection reflects in his interest to be at school every morning. We are grateful for all the assistance during his time at preschool and would definitely recommend Puddleducks to our friends.

  • All of the Ducklings teachers and staff. Thank you for all your patience you have shown and for all the tears you have wiped away. Thank you for all the comfort you have gave to Z and all the planet stories you have told. Thank you for consoling his little heart, and make him feel home in our absence. Thank you for all the dance moves Z has learnt here and teaching him to be kind. Thank you for all thoughtful words you have taught and all the sweet things you do. For being there in place of us, we are grateful....and we'll always be!!!

    Z parents

  • Dear Puddleducks, Thank you so much for looking after A & G for all these years (throughout covid!) and generally being kind and loving. We so appreciate all of you!

  • To the whole Puddleducks Team, Thank you so much for you love and care of R during her time at nursery. You came to our rescue during the pandemic and have been wonderful ever since. We are so appreciative of your hard work. We know R has really enjoyed her time at Puddleducks and will miss you all. She will likely be back for POSH Club and A pick-ups, so I'm sure she'll be happy to still see you! You are all amazing!

    Thank you again. E & J

  • I personally would like to thank everyone one of you who has taught & welcomed J into puddleducks, we have both had a great experience and J has come on heaps and bounds in your care. He has made many friendships & speaks highly of his teachers so it will be sad to see him leave but again thank you & we look forward to spending our last remaining weeks with you.

  • Thank you to all of you - especially those in the pre school room - for the kindness and care that you've shown L over the past year. He's really enjoyed being at pre school and I've been so pleased with the level of care, range of activities and professionalism by everyone. He's gone from a shy just -turned- 3 year old who had never been away from his parents to being completely ready for school - so thank you! :) wishing you all the best of luck for the future.

You have given her such a warm and supportive welcome to Puddleducks and joining you has been very positive for her. • Just a quick note to say a HUGE thank you for everything that you have done for both E and S over the years. We are so grateful to everyone there for making nursery such a cosy and safe environment which they've loved. E feels very school ready and can't wait to start at Milverton. The only problem she might face with her transition is that she will miss Puddleducks so much. Sending you all our very best wishes for the future. Thank you

Termly themes

The children in each unit will engage in their own half termly themes, so they have new and exciting activities to help them learn and develop. For example; Celebrations, People that help us, Things that grow.

Here is a selection of activities that have taken place during September throughout the nursery.

Extra curricular activities

Keir attends the nursery every other Thursday to do singing with the children. He spends time with all age groups to spread his love of music and to encourage children’s language.

The children really enjoy his sessions and look forward to the days he is in.

Mel attends the nursery every other Tuesday to do Bilingua singing with our preschoolers. She has introduced the joy of learning a new language in a fun way.

The children really look forward to Mel’s sessions and are always very engaged with the sessions.

Super star sports visit our Ducklings, Cygnets and Swans twice a week. During the last term they did Superhero sports. This term they will be doing gymnastics.

The children really look forward to sessions with Owen.
